Today, February 21st, should have been Garet’s birthday. It should have been another year of his laughter, his plans, his dreams unfolding. Our silly debates, and goofy stories. Another year of hugs, conversations, and memories made….
But instead, today is a day of remembering. A day of honoring. A day of carrying him forward in the only way I know how.

This blog is my way of keeping his light alive. It is a place for grieving parents, for those searching for signs from their loved ones, for anyone walking through loss and wondering how to keep going.
Garet’s story is not over. His life still matters. His love still exists. And through awareness, connection, and shared healing, I hope this space can make a difference—just like he did.
💜 Happy Heavenly Birthday, Garet. You are loved beyond measure, missed beyond words, and carried with me in everything I do.
